We are lucky enough to be contriutors to the “All the Best”show on fbi Radio 94.5 FM. Natalie Oswald grew up behind the Iron Curtain of the Soviet Union. She was born to a Christian father and a Muslim mother and raised in Turkmenistan. Her journey to Australia was fuelled by the love of her family, and the desire to provide her children with a better life. We did this interview for FBi radio, 7 April 2012.

 

Change  - 7/6/11

 

Burn Survivor Gary Fulcher, was the Clinical Psychologist at the Concord Burns unit when he received burns to 60% of his body in a car accident. The doctor became a patient. His life changed in an instant and not all for the worst. This interview was played on fbi Radio in June 2011.

We interviewed Zahra Stardust last year rbi Radio, and just recently a portrait of her by photographer Belinda Mason, was banned from an exhibition at Casula Powerhouse. Both Dieter and I are part of this exhibition and certainly didn't  find the work offensive.

Here is our interview for fbi Radio with Aunty Marlene Cummins the only foremost practising aboriginal female blues artist currently on the Australian blues scene. Aunty Marlene hails from Queensland. She grew up around very poor oppressive conditions in the fifties when the infamous so-called "Aboriginal Protection Act" was well in force. Her family had been subjected to these conditions. We thank her so very much for sharing her story with us.

Ruth Frith is the oldest competing athlete in the world. She weights less than 50 kilos and  looks like a breeze would blow her over. Ruth even has wrinkles on her wrinkles. Like superman and Clarke Kent, she morphs from wearing comfortable shoes and a cardy, to a uniform to represent Australian in the World Masters Games. Germaine Greer - 11/11/12

 

We were so lucky to meet Germaine Greer at the 2012 Festival of Dangerous Ideas. We were lucky enough to have a one on one interview with her in her hotel room during the festival.  Germain spoke about many things and All the Best fbi Radio producer Belinda Lopez, edited the interview and focussed on her talking about her life before she became famous, her life as a young teenage girl.

Sex Worker Rachel Wotton specialises in the needs of people with disabilities. A documentary about her life was shown at the 2011 Sydney Film Festival. Her story enables us to look intimately into the lives of two group of people where sex is a taboo and discover that we all need love and touch. This interview was played on fbi Radio in July 2011

I  thought of when our own grandfather,  who had cancer and sought alternative medicine including Urophagia.  We decide to interview Natalie and Fabio who told us about this treatment which is often misunderstood, and underestimated.

Urine Therapy or Urotherapy has been practiced for over 2000 years, it is amazing how it has spanned over time and cultures. This interview was played on fbi Radio in August 2011
